Welcome to TEDxPittsburgh 2022!

As time keeps passing, we continue to build Lineage within our own lives, with our families, and with our communities - and we’re so glad to be a part of yours.

Whether you’re attending in-person at MuseumLab or watching online, you’re participating in the global TEDx community to learn about ideas worth spreading, and celebrating the ideas from your neighbors right here in Pittsburgh.

Tag @TEDxPittsburgh in your Instagram story to tell us where you’re watching from, and what Lineage means to you.

From our all-volunteer team: thank you for being here!

About Our Theme: Lineage

Descendancy from a common ancestor. Connection beyond time and space. Kinship that transcends physical place. Lineage tells us the human story - where we’ve been as both individuals and as a collective, and how we might steward the future we hold together.

Tonight’s talks remind us about the challenges and complexities of being human - of making decisions, of learning and unlearning, of finding our voice and our identity, and the ways in which we are all connected, through art, music, and maps.

Special Thanks

Our gratitude goes to all speakers, performers, and our partners. With extra special thanks the MuseumLab team; Max Pipman, Allyson King, Anne Fullenkamp. And thanks to Mark Carolla for help with the power point. TEDxPGH wouldn’t be possible without our all volunteer team, speakers, and performers who believe in the positive power of ideas to bring this event to life.
